This week has been all about getting to grips with Substack. And honestly, I feel like a complete beginner again. No idea what the hell I’m doing. And yet for once, I’m not panicking.

I’m just playing. Mostly.

That was until I opened the Notes section.

What the fuck do I write on here? Does it need to be profound? Valuable? Personal?

I ended up journalling about not knowing what to use Notes for. Eventually I scribbled:

“Stop overthinking. Start before you know the plan. You don’t need to see the whole staircase.

Just take a fucking step. Think… Ready. Fire. And then Aim.”

And that was it. That was exactly what I needed to share. A little #notetoself.

Why do we make things so much more complicated than they need to be?

Anyway.

I’ve been diving back into old blogs and articles I’ve written over the years. There are hundreds of them. But because I changed my website host, none of them are actually online anymore.

There are also almost two thousand drafts. Ones that I never had the time to complete—until now that is.

So right now I’m enjoying rereading and updating them. I’m researching. I’m adding bits I’ve learned since. Then I’ll re-share them here on Substack.
